WHAT
WE DO.

PROGRAMS & PROJECTS.

Range Fore Hope offers FREE Golf Programs to Active Duty Service Members, Veterans, their families, and Adaptive Golfers at Cobblestone Park Golf Club (Blythewood, SC) and the James Clyburn Golf Center (Columbia, SC).

Our programs allow us to accomplish our mission of providing access to outdoor activities as a positive outlet for our  Active-Duty Service Members, Veterans (Combat and Disabled), and their Dependents as they overcome life's difficulties specifically attributed to the effects of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). All Active and Retired Military are invited to participate in these programs.

In 2022, we are excited to say we are a member of the US Adaptive Golf Alliance (USAGA). We have trained and certified instructors and volunteers to now offer Adaptive Golf instruction at our Cobblestone Park location.

Testimonials

I was informed about this Program from another Veteran. I was thoroughly impressed that there is a place for Veterans like myself who enjoy the game of golf to access a range and a golf professional for free. This time out on the range was much appreciated and I wanted to just thank the staff who is involved.

- Retired Army Veteran

I am happy to have found an organization that is willing to reach out to me as a military dependent. A lot of programs are specific for the Veteran but this program allows the entire family to attend and be a part of it. That is truly amazing and my family and I are truly thankful for them for the opportunity.

- Air Force Veteran Spouse

I have been to a lot of programs that are specific for Veterans, Combat Veterans, and Disabled Veterans. As a Disabled Vet myself I am thankful to have found an outdoor outlet. I enjoy being out at the range and the teaching professionals always make me feel like I am getting better, even though I am pretty sure I am not!! I will continue to attend and learn more as they have more and more events.

- Disabled Veteran

This program is cool. I didn't think I would like golf because I have never done it before. The instructors are very good and teach us a lot about golf. I am thankful that I took the time to try this program while attending South Carolina Youth Challenge Academy (SCYCA). Thanks for introducing me to a game that I can play now for the rest of my life.
